Use One Page Heading in Framer

  1. Open your project in Framer and navigate to the page you want to adjust.
  2. Click the main title at the top of the page—this should represent the primary topic or purpose of the page.
  3. With the heading selected, open the right-hand Text panel.
  4. Find the Tag dropdown and set the main title to H1.
    • This must be the only H1 on the page.
  5. Scroll down the page and click each additional heading or large text block.
  6. For every other heading:
    • Open the Tag menu,
    • Change any extra H1s to the correct level—typically H2 for major sections, H3–H4 for subsections.
  7. If any text block visually looks like a heading but has the wrong tag:
    • Select the text → open the Tag dropdown → assign H2–H6,
    • Keep the styling consistent using the Font controls so the visual design doesn’t change.
  8. Open the Layers panel to confirm the page structure:
    • Locate all text elements with heading tags,
    • Verify the order progresses logically: H1 → H2 → H3 (no skipping levels unnecessarily).
  9. Check any shared header components to ensure they do **not** contain an H1.
    • If they do, change them to H2 or lower.
  10. Enter Preview mode and scan the page from top to bottom to ensure the visible hierarchy matches the semantic structure.
  11. Publish or update your project once you confirm only one H1 exists and the heading hierarchy is clean and logical.
