Maintain Consistent Navigation in Elementor
- Open your WordPress dashboard and go to Templates → Theme Builder.
- Select your Header template (or create one if you haven’t yet) and click Edit with Elementor.
- Review the navigation layout:
- Select the Nav Menu widget.
- Under the Content tab, confirm all menu items come from your WordPress Appearance → Menus structure.
- Ensure link labels match your site-wide naming (e.g., “About,” “Services”).
- Click the menu icon in mobile/tablet preview:
- Select the hamburger toggle → Advanced → Attributes.
- Add a clear label such as
aria-label="Open Navigation Menu".
- Check the logo or site title:
- Select the image or Site Logo widget.
- In Content, verify it links to your homepage.
- Ensure styling is consistent:
- Open the Style tab for the Nav Menu.
- Confirm that typography, spacing, colors, and hover/focus states are uniform.
- Repeat for mobile styling under the Dropdown section.
- Click Update to save the header template.
- Return to Templates → Theme Builder and confirm the header’s Display Conditions are set to “Entire Site” so it appears identically everywhere.
- Visit several pages and confirm the same header loads with identical menu labels, structure, and behaviors across desktop, tablet, and mobile.
