Run a Quick Automated Scan in Elementor

1. Click Update in Elementor to ensure your most recent page edits are saved, then view the live page in a new browser tab.
2. Copy the full URL of the live page you want to scan.
3. Open an automated accessibility tool such as WAVE, Axe DevTools (browser extension), or Lighthouse in Chrome DevTools.
4. If using the WAVE Web Tool:
   • Go to the WAVE analysis page.
   • Paste your page URL into the input field.
   • Click Analyze to generate a full accessibility report.
5. If using a browser extension (WAVE or Axe):
   • Navigate to your live Elementor page.
   • Click the extension icon and run the scan instantly.
6. If using Chrome Lighthouse:
   • Right-click anywhere → Inspect.
   • Open the Lighthouse tab.
   • Select the Accessibility category and run the audit.
7. Review the results:
   • Check for missing alt text, low-contrast text, improperly ordered headings, and unlabeled icons or controls.
   • Open each issue to view the exact element on the page.
8. Return to Elementor and fix each issue:
   • Add proper alt text in the Media Library,
   • Strengthen color contrast via Style → Typography/Background,
   • Correct heading levels using the HTML Tag dropdown,
   • Add labels or ARIA attributes to icons in Advanced → Attributes.
9. Click Update again once fixes are complete.
10. Re-run the automated scan on the live page to confirm issues are resolved.
11. Repeat the scan on all important pages (Home, Services, About, Contact, product pages) to ensure site-wide accessibility consistency.
