Run a Quick Automated Scan in GoDaddy Website Builder

1. Publish your most recent updates in GoDaddy Website Builder so the live page reflects your latest changes.
2. Open the live version of the page in a new browser tab and copy the full URL.
3. Open an automated accessibility tool such as WAVE, Axe DevTools (browser extension), or Lighthouse in Chrome DevTools.
4. If using the WAVE Web Tool:
   • Go to the WAVE website.
   • Paste your page URL into the analysis field.
   • Click Analyze to generate your accessibility report.
5. If using a browser extension (WAVE or Axe DevTools):
   • Navigate to your live GoDaddy site page.
   • Click the extension icon and run the scan immediately.
6. If using Chrome Lighthouse:
   • Right-click the page → Inspect.
   • Open the Lighthouse tab.
   • Select Accessibility and run the audit.
7. Review the scan results:

8. Return to GoDaddy Website Builder and fix any flagged issues:

   • Increase text contrast under Design or Theme,
   • Correct heading levels in the text settings panel,
   • Label icons or controls by adding alt text or labels.
9. Publish your changes, then re-run the scan on the live page to confirm the issues are resolved.
10. Repeat the automated scan for other key site pages (Home, About, Contact, Services, Products) to ensure consistent accessibility across the site.
